Pinot Grigio DOC Collio '05
Region: Montona (Cormons).
- Output 24000 bottles.
- Grape variety Pinot Grigio.
- Soil: marl and sandstone at an altitude of 150 m.
- Production method: hand harvested between the first and final ten days of September; fermentation is in stainless steel vats using selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of 19°-20°C. Partial malolactic fermentation takes place.
- Ageing: Aged in stainless steel for 6 months prior to bottling.
- Appearance: straw with hints of pink
- Nose: floral, fruity, delicate, very fine and elegant
- Palate: dry, full, varietal. Good length.
- Alcohol abv: 13,5 %.
- Serving temperature: 10°C.
- Serving suggestions: antipasti and first courses based on fish and seafood; good also with raw cured hams; excellent with delicate soups and white meats.
