Bianco Fosarin DOC Collio '05
Region: Montona (Cormons).
- Output 7000 bottles.
- Grape variety 40-50%Tocai Friulano , 20% Malvasia, 30-40% Pinot Bianco
- Soil: marl and sandstone at an altitude of 180 m. whit south east exposure.
- Production method: Grapes are harvested manually in the last third of September. Fermentation lasts 10 days in stainless steel. The temperature is maintained at 20°C via an electronically controlled refrigeration plant. Partial malolactic fermentation.
- Ageing: Ageing is part in steel, part in new barriques for a period of around 6 months.
- Appearance: straw yellow
- Nose: delicate, fine and elegant, fresh and fruity when young, growing complex, full and spicy after its second year of life.
- Palate: dry, full, harmonious, with good complexity derived from the blend of three varieties
- Alcohol abv: 13 %.
- Serving temperature: 10-12°C.
- Serving suggestions: antipasti and first courses.
