Chardonnay Isonzo del Friuli D.O.C. 2005
Region: Farra d'Isonzo (Gorizia).

- Grape variety Chardonnay.
- Soil: alluvial, gravely, shale at an altitude of 30-40 m.
- Production method hand harvested between the first and final ten days of September; fermentation is in stainless steel vats using selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of 18°-20°C for 7-12 days.
- Appearance: straw coloured with light greenish shades.
- Nose: intense, delicate, flowery, fruity when young, lightly aromatic due to presence of a small percentage of Chardonnay Musquè.
- Taste: dry, full, elegant, balanced with a long finish.
- Alcohol abv: 12,5%.
- Serving temperature: 9-10°C.
- Serving suggestions: good match for delicate fish dishes, excellent with risotti and young cheeses of raw milk.
